I’m Sierra — a private chef working across yachts, sailing charters, conservation vessels, and private homes around the world. My path into the culinary world began early, my first job in high school was as a prep cook at a small family-owned French restaurant. I learned the quiet discipline of kitchen work — knife skills, preparation, and attention to detail. Nearly a decade later, those early lessons proved invaluable when I began working as a cook/stewardess and quickly turned chef. Life at sea and in private environments shaped my ability to adapt to diverse tastes, work intuitively with available ingredients, and craft personalized dining experiences in dynamic settings. In 2022, I completed my culinary certifications at Ashburton Cookery School, expanding both my technical range and culinary perspective.
Those experiences continue to guide my approach in the kitchen. I create seasonally driven menus rooted in whole foods and inspired by each place I cook. I balance vibrant, fresh ingredients with quiet indulgence — from handmade breads and sauces to thoughtful wine pairings and artfully presented dishes, all designed to feel restorative and abundant. Each menu is tailored to individual preferences and dietary needs, promoting well-being without ever sacrificing pleasure or sophistication.
